Šių metų balandžio 28-30 dienomis Varšuvoje vyks Europos Ekonominis Forumas. Kaip žinote, prieš tai jis buvo organizuotas Zalcburge, Austrijoje. Lenkijos prezidentas Kvasnievskis pareiškė norą priimti šį forumą Pasaulinio Ekonominio Forumo Davose metu. Lenkijos valdžia neslepia fakto, kad jie nori rengti EEF Varšuvoje visą laiką. Be visos tokio įvykio pompastikos ir prestižo, valdžia suinteresuota parodyti visam ‘civilizuotam’ pasauliui, kad Lenkijoje nėra problemų su neoliberalizmo oponentais. Vyriausybė žino, kad antiglobalistinis judėjimas Lenkijoje yra menkas ir neorganizuotas, todėl ji nori parodyti, kad, tuo metu kai visame pasaulyje tokio masto ekonominiai susitikimai sukelia dešimčių ar šimtų tūkstančių žmonių protestus, čia, Lenkijoje, viskas įvyks labai ramiai, be jokių ekscesų. Valdžia yra taip tuo įsitikinusi, kad Forumo vieta buvo pasirinkti Kultūros rūmai, esantys pačiame Varšuvos centre.

Kadangi tokio masto įvykis yra pirmas Rytų Europoje po NATO susitikimo Lietuvoje, bei Bušo turo po Europą, yra labai svarbu jiems sukliudyti. Jei mes turime ką jiems pasakyti, tai sakykime tai jiems. Jei turime ką jiems parodyti, tai parodykime tai jiems. Viena kitą keičiančių vyriausybų nekompetencija ir korupcija verčia vis daugiau žmonių kritikuoti neoliberalizmą, tai reiškia, kad tolenracija valdžiai, jos pačios ir išugdyta, silpsta ir žmonės pradeda suvokti, kad su Europos Sąjungos politika ir Barbės atvaizdu televizoriuje ne viskas gerai, todėl situacija protestams yra palanki. Per pastaruosius metus tiek dešiniojo, tiek kairiojo sparnų vykdoma politika sukūrė net 20% bedarbystę Lenkijoje (jaunimui, neskaitant baigusių aukštuosius mokslus, šis skaičius yra dvigubai didesnis). Daugiau nei 60% Lenkijos gyventojų gyvena už skurdo ribos. Praeitais metais Varšuvoje įvyko audringi rūdkasių protestai. Tokių riaušių nebuvo nuo 80-ųjų. Kitos socialinės grupės yra tokioje pat blogoje situacijoje. Daugelio socialinių ir profesinių grupių socialinės jungtys yra sutrikusios. Libertarai ir anti-autoritariniai kairieji pasiruošimą protestams pradėjo gana vėlai, bet mes tikime, kad mes vis dar galime tai padaryti. Mes neslepiame, kad be užsienio pagalbos didesnio masto protestų suorganizuoti nepavyks, todėl mes laukiame kiekvieno jūsų paramos ir meilės. Bet kokia tavo pagalba tikrai pravers. Tai bus pirmas tokio masto įvykis Lenkijoje. Savo ruožtu bandysime užtikrinti legalumą ir bazinę medicininę pagalbą akcijų metų, vietą transparantų gaminimiui, koordinavimui tarp grupių ir žmonių ir t.t. Bus parūpinti vertėjai, pigus atvykusiųjų apgyvendinimas, įvairių Lenkijos miestų Food not Bombs aktivistų gamintas maistas. Mes bandysime suorganizuoti techninę infrastuktūrą Indymedia’ai, nors tai ir gali sukelti tam tikrų keblumų dėl mūsų kuklių finansinių išteklių. Kviečiame atvykti ir/ar padėti visus, kurie kovoja už savo idealus prieš neoliberalizmo žnyples. Parodykime šiai technokratų, politikų ir finansinių riklių armijai, kad mes nesuteikėme jiems teisės galvoti ir priimti sprendimus už mus. Pasimatysime Varšuvoje, balandžio 28-30 dienomis!

An invitation to the broad alterglobalist movement of Europe and the World - ENGLISH

Dear friends,

>From 28th till 30th April the European Economic Forum will take place in Warsaw. As
you know, before it has been organised in Salzburg, Austria. Polish president
Kwasniewski volunteered Poland to host it at the WEF meeting in Davos. The Polish
authorities don't hide the fact that they would like the EEF to be transfered to
Warsaw for good. Besides the prestige of hosting such an event, they want to show
to the rest of the world that they have no problems with opponents of neoliberalism
here in Poland. They know that the alterglobalist movement is weak and disorganized
in Poland. They want to use this to show the world that while in other countries
the alterglobalist protests gather tens of thousands of demonstrators, Poland will
be calm and orderly. They are so sure of this that they have chosen to hold the
event in the Palace of Culture in the very center of Warsaw. The choice of this
place shows, how sure they are that nobody can bother them.

It is really important that we foil their plans. We have to show them that we won't
tolerate their politics. The social situation is favorable for protests - the
incompetence and corruption of all consecutive governments convinces more and more
people to become critical about neoliberalism. The effects of the policies of both
the right-wing and left-wing governments in Poland have led to over 20% unemployment
in the country (Among youth, not counting graduates of higher education, this figure
is twice as high.) More than 60% of polish people live at or under the poverty line.
Last year there were violent miners' protests in Warsaw. Such fights haven't been
seen since the 80s. Other social groups are also in an equally bad situation. Social
frustration concerns many social groups and professions. The libertarian and left
anti-authoritarian milieus started preparing for protests against the EFE late, but
still we believe we can make it. We don't hide the fact that without significant
support from abroad it will be very difficult for us to organize this large-scale
protest. We are open to cooperation and welcome you here. We will accept any kind of
help and advice. This will be the first action on this scale in Poland. From our
side we will try to ensure legal protection and basic medical care during the
action, a place to make banners and so on. In places we will have translators, we'll
organize a list of affordable accommodations, the Food not Bombs activists from
different cities in Poland will prepare food for those who need it. We will try to
organize the technical infrastructure for Indymedia although this might be a problem
on account of the very modest funds that we have. We invite everybody who shares the
ideals of fighting suffocating neoliberalism. Let's show to this army of
technocrats, politicians and financier/sharks who will come here in April to Warsaw,
that nobody gave them any right to decide for us. Let's all meet in Warsaw on 28-30
of April.

Le Forum Economique Europeen, d'habitude organise a Salzburg, demenage a Varsovie.
Nous voulons feter cette occassion d'une maniere bien efficace - au moment ou les
presidents et les officiels des pays differents vont avoir leur rencontre, nous
voulons vous inviter pour une serie des actions et initiatives alternatives a la
vision neoliberale du monde. Pendant que les officiels vont prendre leurs decisions
au nom des habitants de leurs pays, nous allons nous organiser nous memes - il va y
avoir une conference sur les alternatives au monde neoliberale (28 - 30. 04 contact
pour la conference : cube@zigzag.pl), un festival des theatres (le 28. 04), une
manife des tous les groupes et collectifs alterglobalists.

Le 1 Mai est aussi un jour de fete - et un jour de l' enlargement de l' Union
Europeenne. N'ayant rien contre des enlargements en general, nous ne sommes pas
tellement heureux, que la structure dont notre pays faira partie sera une autre
bureaucratie... et donc nous allons la feter aussi. Soyez invitez pour toute cette

entre los dнas 28 y 30 de abril, el Foro Econуmico Europeo tendrб lugar en Varsovia.
Como sabeis ya ha tenido lugar antes en Salzburgo, Austria. El presidente
Kwasniewski ofreciу a Polonia como anfitriуn en la reuniуn de la WEF (Foro econуmico
Mundial) en Davos. La policнa mostrу su deseo de que el FEE se cambiara, para bien,
a Varsovia. Ademбs del prestigio de albergar tal evento, ellos querнan mostrar al
mundo que no tienen problemas con los opositores al neoliberalismo en polonia. Ellos
saben que el movimiento antiglobalizaciуn es actualmente dйbil y desorganizado en
Polonia. Quieren utilizar esto para mostrar que mientras tienen miles de
manifestaciones en las calles, motines y cortes de calles, Polonнa estarб calmada y
en orden. Estбn tan seguros de esto, que han elegido el Palacio de la Cultura para
celebrar este evento, en pleno centro de Varsovia. La elecciуn de este lugar
demuestra su seguridad de que nadie puede molestarles. Los que tomaron la decisiуn
del translado en Davos seńalaron que este evento decidirá si éste se sigue
celebrando permanentemente en Varsovia. Por eso es importante que frustremos sus
planes. tenemos que demostrarles que no toleraremos su polнtica. la situaciуn social
es favorable porque la incompetencia y la corrupciуn en el gobierno ha hecho que mбs
y mбs gente abra los ojos. Los efectos de los polнticos, tanto de derechas como de
izquierdas, en Polonia, se deja notar; mбs de un 20% de parados, creciendo. La
mayoria de los jуvenes no cuentan con estudios de grado superior, mбs del 60% de la
poblaciуn vive por debajo del umbral de la pobreza. Esto llevo el último ańo a
violentas protestas mineras en Varsovia que no se habían visto desde los ańos
ochenta. otros grupos sociales estбn tambien en mala situaciуn. La frustracciуn
social concierne a varios grupos y profesiones. los libertarios e izquierditas
antiautoritarios empezaron a prepararse el último ańo pero no queremos ocultar que
sin el suficiente apoyo desde el extranjero no seremos capaces de organizar
protestas a gran escala. Estaremos abiertos a tu cooperaciуn y te daremos la
bienvenida. Aceptaremos cualquier tipo de ayuda, incluso armas. Serб la primera
acciуn en esta escala en Polonia. por nuestra parte intentaremos asegurar protecciуn
legal y los suficientes cuidados mйdicos durante la acciуn, un lugar donde hacer
banderas y todo eso. Lugares en los que tendremos traductores, organizaremos una
lista de posibles alojamientos, los activistas de Food not Bomb de diferentes
ciudades de Polonia prepararбn comida para quien lo necesite. Intentaremos organizar
la infraestructura tйcnica para Indymedia a pesar de los fondos modestos de los que
disponemos. invitamos a todo el mundo que comparta los ideales de sofocar al
neoliberalismo luchando. Mostraremos a los tecnуcratas, polнticos y
financieros/estafadores, que nadie les ha dado ningъn derecho para decidir por
nosotros. Nos encontraremos todos en varsovia entre el 28 y 30 de Abril. ˇdecidamos

Oficijelni poziv za Varљavu Warsaw, 10. februar, 2004

Dragi prijatelji,

Od 28-30. aprila u Varšavi će se održati Evropski ekonomski forum. Kao љto znate,
prethodni se odrћao u Salzcburgu u Austriji. Na sastanku Svetskog ekonomskog foruma
u Davosu, predsednik Kwasniewski je predložio da Poljska bude sledeći domaćin.
Poljske vlasti ne kriju činjenicu da bi želeli da se EEF preseli u Varšavu. Pored
prestiћa zbog odrћavanje takvog dogadjaja, oni ћele da pokaћu svetu da nemaju
nikakve probleme sa oponentima neoliberalizma ovde u Poljskoj. Znaju da je ovde
alterglobalistički pokret slab i dezorijentisan. Ћele da iskoriste ovaj dogadjaj da
pokaћu svetu da dok drugde postoje desetine hiljada demonstranata na ulicama, pobune
i zatvaranja celih delova grada, Poljska će biti tiha i krotka. Tako su sigurni u to
da su izabrali da odrћe ovaj dogadjaj u samom centru Varљave, u Palati kulture. To
pokazuje koliko su ubedjeni da ih niko neće uznemiravati. Oni koji su odlučivali u
Davosu, ukazali su na to da će ovaj dogadjaj odlučiti da li će se EEF stalno
odrћavati u Varљavi. Tako da je veoma vaћno da im osujetimo planove. Moramo im
pokazati da nećemo tolerisati njihovu politiku. Situacija u društvu je povoljna zbog
nekompetencije i korupcije koje se redjaju jedna za drugom u Vladi, a to dovodi do
toga da se ljudima sve više otvaraju oči povodom stvari koje se dešavaju oko nas.
Efekti politike, kako desničara tako i levičara u vladi Poljske, su doveli do
nezaposlenosti od preko 20% a kriza je i dalje u porastu (medju mladima, ako se ne
broje mladi sa fakultetima i višim školama, ovaj procenat je duplo veći). Viљe od
60% ljudi ћivi oko ili ispod linije siromaљtva. Proљle godine je doљlo do nasilnih
protesta rudara u Varљavi. Takva borba nije vidjena od 80-tih. Druge socijalne grupe
su takodje u isto tako loљoj situaciji. Socijalne frustracije su vaћne za mnoge
socijalne grupe i profesije. Liberteri i levičarski anti-autoritarci su započeli sa
spremanjem krajem prošle godine ali ne želimo da sakrijemo činjenicu da bez značajne
podrљke iz inostranstva mi nećemo biti u mogućnosti da organizujemo masovne
proteste. Otvoreni smo za kooperaciju i očekujemo vas ovde. Oberučke ćemo prihvatiti
bilo koju vrstu pomoći. Ovo će biti prva akcije ove veličine u Poljskoj. Љto se nas
tiče, pokušaćemo da osiguramo legalnu zaštitu i osnovnu medicinsku pomoć tokom
protesta, mesto za pravljenje banera, itd. Imaćemo prevodioce, organizovaćemo listu
za smeštaj, hrana za one kojima je potrebna će biti organizovana od strane aktivista
"Hrana a ne oružje". Pokušaćemo da organizujemo tehničku infrastrukturu za
Indymediju iako to može biti problem na račun veoma skromnog fonda koji će nam biti
na raspolaganju. Pozivamo sve koji dele ideale borbe radi savladjivanja
neoliberalizma. Pokazaćemo armiji tehnokrata, političara I finansijera/zelenaљima
koji ovde dolaze da im niko nije dao za pravo da odlučuju u naše ime. Sretnimo se
svi u Varљavi od 28-30. aprila.

Mi ćemo biti ti koji odlučuju o našoj budućnosti! Poljski liberterski milje, koji

kurz vor dem beitritt zur europдischen union (demonstrativ geplant am 1. mai um die
bedeutung dieses feiertages zu дndern), kommt der europдische wirtschaftgipfel (der
aufgrund der geplanten proteste in dublin abgesagt wurde) nach warschau.

zu diesem anlass wollen wir den gipfel nicht nur mit protest, sondern auch mit
kritik und alternativen visionen begrьЯen. dafьr rufen wir zur teilnahme an einem
alternativen wirtschaftsforum auf. das forum wird offen sein und es ist unsere
absicht sowohl die breite цffentlichkeit als auch die gemeinschaft der aktivistInnen
anzusprechen. das forum wir hauptsдchlich aus zwei arten von events bestehen:
vorlesungen oder prдsentationen und diskussionen/workshops. andere veranstaltungen
mцgen dabei sein aber hauptaufmerksamkeit soll darauf gerichtet sein, eine kritik
der derzeitigen цkonomischen trends und praktiken zu entwickeln und ihnen radikale
alternativen gegenьber zu stellen. ausserdem sollen zumindest einige der auf dem
gipfel diskuttierten inhalte thematisiert werden. hiermit wollen wir organisationen
und individuen dazu einladen diese initiative zu unterstьtzen durch : a..weitergabe
der informationen an interessierte b..organisieren von gesprдchen oder anderen
events

Nic o nas bez nas!

W dniach 28 - 30 kwietnia odbędzie się w Warszawie Europejskie Forum Ekonomiczne.
Dotychczas odbywało się ono w Salzburgu w Austrii. Polską kandydaturę zgłosił
Kwaśniewski, nie ukrywając, że chciałby, aby EFE na stałe przeniosło się do
Warszawy. Poza względami prestiżowymi jakie niesie goszczenie tej imprezy w Polsce,
wydarzenie to ma pokazać reszcie świata, że u nas przeciwnicy neoliberalizmu nie
istnieją. Rządzący chcą posłać w świat prosty przekaz: "zobaczcie wy podczas takich
szczytów macie dziesiątki czy setki tysięcy demonstrantów, zamieszki na ulicach, a u
nas panuje spokój i porządek". O tym jak bardzo są pewni siebie świadczy choćby
wybуr miejsca obrad - jest nim Pałac Kultury i Nauki - najbardziej centralna budowla
w Warszawie.

Decydenci z Davos cały czas podkreślają, że od tego jak wypadnie szczyt zależy, czy
Europejskie Forum Ekonomiczne na stałe przeniesie się do Warszawy. Tym ważniejsze
jest, aby udało nam się pokrzyżować ich plany. Musimy pokazać, że nigdzie nie ma
przyzwolenia dla ich polityki!

Nieudolność i skorumpowanie kolejnych rządów pozwalają przejrzeć na oczy coraz
większej ilości ludzi. W efekcie neoliberalnych eksperymentуw przeprowadzanych
zarówno przez prawicowe jak i lewicowe rządy mamy w tej chwili 20 procentowe
bezrobocie, które stale rośnie, a ponad 60 % ludzi żyje poniżej albo na granicy
ubóstwa. Nierówności w wynagrodzeniach i poziomie życia ciągle narastają, co
powoduje coraz większą społeczną frustracje.

W zaistniałej sytuacji stanowczy protest staje się koniecznością. W związku z tym
wolnościowcy, anarchiści, radykalna lewica, ekolodzy, feministki, stowarzyszenia i
grupy nieformalne przygotowują konferencje i akcje uliczne. Zainteresowanie udziałem
w protestach wyraziły organizacje bezrobotnych, część związków zawodowych oraz wiele
grup z zagranicy. Mamy również nadzieję, że nie zabraknie mieszkańców Warszawy.

Władze oraz media nakręcają spiralę strachu przed protestami. Nie dajmy się jednak
zwariować! Ta psychoza ma zniechęcić ludzi do udziału w protestach. Tego typu
praktyki miały miejsce w każdym kraju, gdzie odbywały się podobne międzynarodowe
spotkania i towarzyszące im protesty. Pomimo zabiegуw ze strony rządzących
największe demonstracje alterglobalistyczne liczyły ponad 500 tys. ludzi. Pokażmy
tej armii polityków, technokratów i szefów korporacji, że nikt im nie udzielił prawa
podejmowania za nas decyzji. Niech żyje wolność i społeczna samoorganizacja!
Spotkajmy się wszyscy w Warszawie między 28 - 30 kwietnia.

Ze swojej strony postaramy się zapewnić punkty informacyjne, w których można będzie
uzyskać wszelkie niezbędne informacje o planowanych akcjach, przystępnych cenowo
noclegach i darmowych posiłkach. Osobom zatrzymanym pomagać będzie specjalna grupa
antyrepresyjna. Podczas demonstracji pomocy udzielać będą grupy medyczne.

Sami zdecydujemy o naszej przyszłości!
